Ph.D. Research Areas:
As a Ph.D. candidate, you'll be at the forefront of advancing Large Language Models (LLM) for
multi-modal robot control. Your expertise will be applied to transformative research in:
- LLM and VLM for robot control and planning
- Data-driven robot control and planning
- Robot grasping and manipulation
- LLM and VLM (Vision-Language Model) for Robot Learning
- Motion planning
- Robot control
- Haptic-guided teleoperation
- Mobile robot navigation
Candidate Profile:
Essential:
- We are seeking exceptional B.Sc. graduates or M.Sc. graduates from China
- Data-driven robot control and planning
- passion for programming
- familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Strong mathematical or AI knowledge
- coding skills (C++/Python, ROS)
Desired:
- Publications in Robotics (RSS, CoRL, ICRA, IROS) and CV/ML/AI are desired (Nuerips, AAAI, CVPR, ICML)
- solid knowledge in robotics
- solid knowledge in deep learning, and/or AI/ML
- experience of working with real robots
- Experience with real sensory data
- Familiar with CV.
